Her father was an alpinist, her mother was his beautiful dying dream, and her stepparents are a pair of ibex. Blue Sky is a young girl born into the elemental world of the high Alps and cared for by a herd of ibex. She knows of nothing but rock, snow, ice, and blue sky, but when she rescues a young climber from a stormy peak, she learns of the mysteries that lie beyond the crags.
