CARLISLE HIGH SCHOOL - Tecno-Libro

The first Saturday of each August is significant for most of the alums of old Carlisle High School, for this is the time when many of the old grads gather in their original home- town of Carlisle for the annual banquet/meeting of the CHS Alumni Association. Amazing- ly, a good crowd will enthusiastically come together for this event sporting big smiles while exchanging generous hugs n handshakes! Normally, this would not seem so noteworthy, since numerous schools or class reunions gather annually or periodically, but usually from active schools. However, Carlisle High School, after existing seventy years with only some 1423 total graduates in its history, was closed to consolidation in 1963. So, over fifty years have passed with no new alumni added. Yet, the truly amazing Alumni Association of Carlisle High School in 2015 will reach a century of consecutive annual banquet/meetings!
